The thriving forests of Umbra Munte are home to a variety of creatures, all with their own societies and beliefs.
The following species are allowed in Umbra Munte:
Canidae:
Birds:
Feline:
Large mammals:
Small animals:
WIPCanidae:
- Eurasian and Gray Wolves.
- Red fox.
- Some dogs and wolf dog mixes can be allowed. Please keep in mind that having the species/subspecies nondescript, will lend credibility to it's chosen design without disrupting the flow of UM's continuity.
Bucovina Shepherds, Romanian Mioritic Shepherds, Romanian Raven Shepherds, Borzoi, Transylvanian Hound are all specific "breeds." Keeping the time era in mind, it's easier to go with types of dogs, instead of breeds. For example: Sight hounds, scent hounds, herding, etc. Very mixed or mutts would also be common.
Birds:
- Ravens, crows, eagles, kites, hawks, owls. Along with other small songbirds native to the area. (e.g, goldcrest.)
Feline:
- Wildcats, Eurasian lynx.
Large mammals:
- Boar, horse, deer.
Small animals:
- Squirrel, weasel, rabbit, hare, rat, snake.
- This is a mostly realistic dream as far as character creation goes, we are going to hope common sense is used when designing your character.
Neon's, super bright colours in random places, spots & stripes, mohawks, clothing, sparklewolves etc don't fit. Please respect that.
Although, if your character has small temporary markings made from blood, berries, or other organic matter then be ready to explain how they procure and apply it. - The size of your character should reflect the species, don't abuse this. Bigger/taller doesn't = better.
- We won't be adding locals willy-nilly at your beck and call. If you are wanting to make something that isn't mentioned on this list, please discuss it with staff before doing so. This being said, there is no guarantee that we will allow what you're asking. Instead..creativity in backstory and personality are encouraged.
